Ruben Arredondo is Regulatory Counsel at Grid United, bringing more than 16 years of experience in the utility and electrical energy industry on the state, regional, federal, and international level. He primarily advises on state and federal regulatory permitting matters and negotiations of interconnection agreements for Grid United projects.
Ruben has extensive experience in transmission and generation regulation and development in western North America. He was formerly lead enforcement lawyer for WECC and has deep experience covering utility-scale transmission, NERC reliability standards, FERC practice and procedure, and state utility commission practice.
Ruben has a JD/MPA from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brigham Young University.
