April Gonzales is the Human Resources Director for Grid United. She is responsible for all of Grid United’s human resource functions including employee communications, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, employee performance and development, organizational effectiveness, culture, diversity, inclusion and equity, and related programs. April brings more than 14 years of human resource leadership experience to Grid United.
Prior to joining Grid United, April served as the People & Culture Leader at Koch Project Solutions (KPS), a Koch Engineered Solutions integrated projects and services company. She was responsible for incorporating the Performance Based Management® aspects into the people, performance, and culture of KPS. Before KPS, April worked at Expro supporting the western hemisphere in areas of human performance, compliance in union and non-union environments in land, and deep water and pipeline markets.
April is also a Lean In Circle Leader. Circles are a space for women to come together to learn research-backed strategies to advance their careers, all while benefiting from peer mentorship, validation, and support. April holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of Phoenix.
