Ashley McGeary is the Communications Director for Grid United. She oversees all aspects of internal and external communications, public affairs, and strategic corporate engagement. A core focus of her role is cultivating and maintaining the company’s corporate reputation. This includes spearheading the development and implementation of communication strategies across Grid United’s corporate and project portfolio. In collaboration with functional leads and the development team, Ashley ensures that project stakeholders, media, trade organizations, policymakers, and other external audiences have a clear and accurate understanding of Grid United’s mission and the critical importance of interregional transmission.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree with double majors in art history and classical studies from Rice University and a master’s degree in global communication, with a focus on communication and information technology in international affairs and East Asia, from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
