Cara Bellavia is a Senior Director of Environmental at Grid United. In this role, Cara supports development and permitting efforts for projects in the Southwest including Southline Transmission Project. Leveraging her deep technical expertise in permitting large-scale grid infrastructure, she partners with teams across development, engineering, commercial, procurement, execution, and other functional areas to ensure successful project delivery. Cara leads outreach and engagement with Tribal Nations in the Desert Southwest.
Cara holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a master’s of urban and environmental planning from Arizona State University. She brings over 25 years of environmental permitting experience for utility-scale energy projects.
